The insulin she required was VERY expensive, so I looked for an affordable solution.

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)

Rocky was born with FIV

FIV cats need a little extra care, but can live long and healthy lives. It is NOT transferrable to Humans and very difficult to transfer to other cats.

Treat with supplements like Lysine and Nutri-plus Gel. Also, yearly vaccinations are recommended.
